No. Icons are hidden from the bar and grouped inside pockets. Quit BarPocket and everything returns to normal.
macOS doesn't provide a public API to manage other apps' menu bar icons. BarPocket uses Accessibility to discover icons and activate them from a pocket panel.
⌘-drag icons to the left of the | line, then click the chevron to hide them. Pockets let you open one without revealing the rest.
