Common questions
Does BarPocket remove my menu bar icons?
No. Icons are hidden from the bar and grouped inside pockets. Quit BarPocket and everything returns to normal.
Why does it need Accessibility?
macOS doesn't provide a public API to manage other apps' menu bar icons. BarPocket uses Accessibility to discover icons and activate them from a pocket panel.
What's the chevron arrow for?
⌘-drag icons to the left of the | line, then click the chevron to hide them. Pockets let you open one without revealing the rest.
Is it free?
Yes. BarPocket is free to download and use.
